Dear users,

I would like to start working on a new component(s) and I will like to hear you suggestions about what will be nice to develop.

Maybe it will take some time, but it will be nice to start.

Thank you very much for any suggestion.

I have had a lot of ideas for new components in the past, but now that I have to think about it I can't remember them. :-(

Here are some initial suggestions:

  • Kanban board.
  • Panel with Close button.
  • Ribbon style toolbar.
  • Menu Button.

= Steve

Hi Boki,

Any further thoughts about new components, especially a Ribbon style toolbar?

Hi,

In meanwhile I started working on 3 new components, the bigger ones. They will be revealed at the end of the summer.

I'm not sure that Ribbon is used in UI anymore. I think that many apps have dropped it?

New components?  I'm intrigued.  I'm in the Southern Hemisphere so it's Winter here - when does your Summer end?

Ah, I didn't know that.  So what are modern applications using now for navigation?  Are they back to toolbars?

BTW, a TreeView where you can hide top nodes would be great, although I don't know how difficult that would be to create.

Devexpress have some very nice components for .NET Winforms, which dont exist for Delphi :TreeMap with hierarchical navigation, Sunburst, Sankey

There is lots that could be done for data visualisation, look for example at Apache eCharts

I would also need something like Simile Timeline. There are few Delphi timeline components but nothing comes close to this one.

look at

https://www.simile-w...ples/index.html

I think a Kanban Board component would be a great addition.

A panel with curved corners would be a nice addition, with the option to set the width of the border and the amount of curvature.
