They're enough to get started and get it running, but as I said earlier, doing Delphi 2009 support "right" is going to involve auditing all the code. And TBH, I'd rather wait a bit to have Boki do that then the half-assed hacks I threw together in a few hours. He's also got to worry about TNT component support -- something I didn't.

Next version (released in few days) will not contain Delphi 2009 support, but next one will (i hope ).

I think I nailed down TNxVirtualDataset. I thought that the changes were a lot scarier than they turned out to be. All that's changed is that record buffers are now TRecordBuffer (= PByte in DB.pas) instead of PChar. Change the declarations of AllocRecordBuffer, FreeRecordBuffer, GetBookmarkData, GetBookmarkFlag, GetRecord, InternalInitRecord, InternalSetToRecord, SetBookmarkData, SetBookmarkFlag.
The 2 calls to StrPas also need fixed.

I am having problem with Pos function in Delphi 2009. Any help is welcome:
if Pos('JFIF', Copy(Field.Value, 1, 10)) = 7 then { jpeg? }
It shows an error while compiling.

what is the error u r getting?
and i didnt understand the jpeg problem u r talking about, do u mean that "jpeg" unit doesnt exists anymore?

This line stops me to install NextDBGrid. I am not sure why this happen with POS and COPY. Maybe somebody have solve this problem. I may delete this line, but then we may have a problems.
