Can you check in your source code whether the Repaint line is in your version, I think this fix was missed in the latest release.

Another one:
- The drop down button is *not* painted as pushed when I click on it and hold down the mouse button. (Unlike a standard combobox)
- When I move the cursor into the drop down list the button *is* painted as pushed (Unlike a standard combobox, too)
These are only visual glitches, but it just doesn't "feel" like a real combobox
