ok,

i can understand that no one should be forced to use jedi if he only wants to use next grid.
but reinventing the wheel is not the best way in software development :-)

maybe we can build a version that uses streams as persistent object, so everyone (inifile user, registry user, ...) can be happy and we dont get solution no 987 to save/restore dbgrid properties.

thanks for the code boki,

but does double-clicking the header realy make sense?
If not, and i dont know any app using double click on headers (but may be anyone else), you should add this code to you own libs, so that onDblClick is only triggered if cursor is in data rows.
