scrollbars for flip container

hi

how can i add scrollbars to the flipcontainer
it seems not to be visible
even though the visible property is true

Hello,

It is automatically added when height of containing elements is higher than height of flipcontainer.

This is standard ScrollBox from Delphi expanded with some new properties and WinXP look. Can you please send me a dfm file you have try to test and I will look on it.

i will try later today and send u if there are still problems

just so i know im not missing anything:
i have 1 flip container
and 2 flip panels
1 on top of the other
if both are open and the bottom border of the second is
lower than the flip container bottom border
the scrollbar should appear?

Hello Emailaya,

Try to set next scene:

Add a NxFlipContainer and then put 2 FlipPanels with Align=alTop. Align property is crucial for this situations.

I hope that this was a problem.

my form has exactly what u said
scrollbars do not appear when the bottom panel opens behind the bottom border of the screen/flipcontainer

what am i missing?

Hello,

Can you please tell me which version of Delphi you are using. I have saw that there are some non existing properties such as ExplicitWidth and ExplicitHeight.

im using bds2006

the truth is i installed this release over the previous one
but also in the previous one (which was a clean install), it didnt have scrollbars

Maybe this properties ExplicitWidth and ExplicitHeight are creating a problems. I don't know wrom where they are come from smile.gif

those properties appear when u chose another align than alNone

try it with your delphi and see

i dont think this is the reason
i removed the align and still no scrollbars

when running your exe - i had scrollbars
when running the project from the source - it didnt
im using bds 2006

mayb this problem and the alert window problem

after a really clean install as described in the alertwindow issue

i still dont see the scrollbars here

Hello,

Please open NxCollection.pas file and add AutoScroll := True in constructor of TNxFlipContainer.

I don't know how I didn't find it smile.gif
