Hi,

(using a TClientDataSet)

I didn't noticed this before since I was using a test database. But now, when testing the application, I started with a clean database.

When inserting a row and using an AfterInsert Event to give some default values. The default values don't appear. When clicking on the row, the application freezes.

When not clicking on the row, but clicking cancel (to cancel the insert). And then re-insert a row, the default values appear...

If the database already contains data (even just one row) and then inserting a row, everything behaves normally.

Anybody experiecing the same?

Thanks
