Can I underline a character in a header? Using &Header just seems to show the ampersand.
Suppose I have a DBGrid and only some of the columns can be sorted on (the ones I have indexes for). How do I indicate to the user which these are? My old grid lets me show a button in just those columns. If the grid is sorted on one of the columns, then it can show a button that has an arrow in it. The other columns have the button with no arrow.
The row indicator has a black background. This (to my eyes) makes it look like the grid has the focus even when it doesn't. Can I make the background the usual color?
Underline in header, sort button, row indicator

Hello David,
May I suggest using OnCustomHeaderDraw event. In this event you may draw what you need. Please don't forget to set DrawingOptions property for Header.
In last days to many people asking for Font property for Header/Footer. I prefer to keep this properties light and compact, but maybe I will finally add it.
Best regards
