Hi, Boki,
I notice that the latest version of the NextDBGrid has lost its MultiSelectType property.
I assume this is a planned change, and I didn't need it - but just out of curiosity, what did the property do,
and it is replaced by anything else?
Regards,
PhilW.

Boki, this turned out to be a real problem for me, because I have to open every form containing a dbgrid and click "Ignore".
Sounds simple, but : I have about 30 different projects for different customers with tons of forms. To identify and apply this change to every form with a dbgrid is a real mess.
My personal advice would be to keep the property for the current major version (5) and to just add a comment. "// Will be dropped in V 6.x."
As I did not expect a change like this in a minor update, I delivered a non working version to a customer today and had a hard time fixing this problem.
(Yes, It's my fault, because I did not test some forms before emailing the Executable. I do a lot of testing when I update to major Versions of Components (4.x -> 5.x), but did not expect a behaviour like that in a minor version change.)
Now I only have some 25+ Applications left which I have to open form by form, "Ignore" the property away and recompile them. That will take me at least half a day.
There must be a better way to handle changes like this on your end.
Have a nice day,
Spongebob.

Hello Spongebob,
I understand.
I am now trying to avoid this situations where some property is missing. I hope that there will be no such situations in future.
Best regards

Howdy,
I've also noticed this prob. with my latest download & install of
the Developer Suite (nextcomps5_613.zip).
Questions:
1. Did I obtain the latest ver. for Delphi, ver 7?
2. If not, what is the latest ver?
3. If I do have the latest ver. for Delphi, ver 7 - how can I avoid this prob?
Thanks for your help,
Marc B.
