Using in-place editors with a column in a Next Grid, I find that the last edit I make is not preserved when I save, unless I deliberately move the cell selection away from the last edit.

There must be a trick to ensuring that last edit is saved, but I can't find what it is. I've tried applyedits on the in-place editors.

Can anyone tell me the secret please?

Hi Boki,

Do we have any thoughts on this yet?

Hi Shaman,

Thanks for your suggestion, but it didn't solve the problem.
If I leave the focus on a cell after editing (date in this case), the value is not saved when I access the values in the grid.

Can you build small demo for me. It will help me for this problem.

Best regards

What about ApplyEditing on the grid itself?

Hi,

Please find attached zip of a simple demonstration.
If you leave a cell in edit to operate the "show" item on the menu, then the item being edited will not be shown on the right-hand list box.

Compiled with D7.

Neville

Hmm, that seems to do the trick. How could it be so simple!

THanks.

PS: See note about ApplyEditing to the Grid. It seems to have done the trick.

Yes, I've just added it to the example I sent to you 10 minutes ago, and it has worked.

Thanks,

Neville
