Hi Boki,
I would like to request that you add a new component to your suite (maybe call TNxBannerPanel) which is just the top part of the TNxHeaderPanel without the container below.
Best regards
Steve

Hello,
I will realy need to think first about it. Maybe for first time you can simply resize NxHeaderPanel to be same size as Header only part.

Hi Boki,

IMO this is "kludgy" workaround, i.e. I am not keen to do it. Incidentally, I have created my own component (derived from your HeaderPanel code) which I might clean up and upload to the user code section, .. BUT I would *REALLY* like to see such a component in the core suite.
These are some images of my component ..
With (new) property CaptionStyle set to csPath
With (new) property CaptionStyle set to csNormal
I am happy to give you the source no strings attached if you wanted to add it to the suite
Best regards

Hi Ozmosys
Looks good (hope this one makes it too into the core)!
Btw/ps do you happen to be the Ozmosys that made the KnowledgeBase?
As for my contributions: Boki, did you already add the TGuidColumn to the NextSuite?

Hi Wim,
How you going?
I am just waiting on a reply from Boki, but if it does not make it I will post the full code in the user contributions area.
Yep, that's me
Best regards
Steve

Hi Wim,
On reflection, I doubt that I should post the code for the new component in an open forum, ... the code is largely based on the TNxHeaderPanel, and I am sure that Boki would not want this broadcast.
I have not heard from Boki yet, .. Boki where are you?
:!: Anyone else reading this and wanting the component, please put a comment in this thread. :!:
Best regards
Steve

Hello,
I have think that maybe it will be better to have option to hide HeaderPanel's Body, because it will be hard do update both components to have same code. I have plan to improve HeaderPanel a lot.

Hi Boki,
That makes sense, could I suggest adding a CaptionType property which controls how the caption will be ellipsified (if needed). It is very easy to do, I am sure you know but I can send you the code snippet if you want.
Cool! What sort of things are you planning?
Best regards
Steve
