I have got an incomplete series of dbaware comps; I'd be happy to share but have'nt got the time ATM to clean the last remaining few bits. I have got some PHP software to deliver (made with D4php) but will finish the work first part of June

Hello Didier,

i think it should become standard components from Boki or else you have to adapt the editors every time a new release comes out.
Anyway, if you want to share your work with me, i would be pleased to take a look at it. But my problem is my limited time and so
i cannot guarantee to be very helpfull sad.gif
If you still want to give it a try you can reach me under user22 at inode dot at smile.gif

thanks both of you,
u22

I agree too, and talking with Boki I went on a route where I modified the existing code, but it is a pain to reapply the changes. What I am doing now (or will be doing in June) is to inherit the base objets to add a dataaware layer which is frankly very easy, thanks to the VCL.. That way I won't have issues going forward.

Hello,

I will like to add support for db editors, but simply currently I don't have enough resources to maintain it.

Let's we first polish all things, and then we may go with new things.

Is there any progress with db aware editors? I am using many of the standart db aware editors in my current project. But i would like to replace them with your editors to have a consistent look an feel

Hi,

There is a plan for some time, but I am still thinking how to create them but to re-use existing code of Next Editors. Maybe I will use Interfaces, but not yet decided.

Development of Next Suite v6 is in progress, so maybe include them in this release.

Best regards
