Hi all - got a little problem, saw a post the other day that was the opposite of what i need.

I have an application with a NextInspector and a NextGrid side by side.

Selecting an item in the NextInspector causes the Nextgrid to be propagated.

However, when the user clicks on the NextGrid, and the focus moves, i loose the visual selection on the NextInspector.

As it stands, when i select an item in the NextInspector i get an Orange box painted around it, which indicates selection. When i click on the grid or any other components, this box disapears.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I've attached to images to show what i have now, and what i want.

Many thanks

mIke

Hay Bojan

That would be excellant if it is not too much trouble. I know that the TTreeview VCL has a HideSelection property which controls whether or not the node selection is visually maintained.

I didn't know if the NextInspector had the same feature. I thought it must be possible becuase i saw a post (http://www.bergsoft....?showtopic=2193) where his screen shot showed three Inspectors all with the selection shown.

Many thanks and continue the good work

Mike
